Grizzly Starting Block

The most popular starting platform in the Platform series, the Grizzly, a single-set anchor design employs all new engineering technology. This new design eliminates all potential deflection and/or wobble associated with other single anchor models. The platform top measures 22-inches by 24-inches and will accommodate our hard cover. The Grizzly will accommodate anchor setbacks of 20-30 inches. Anchors sold separately. Field measurements required.
Spectrum starting platform features: - Frames are fabricated from 304-stainless steel. - Precision fitted anchors - no slop or wobble. - Platform tops and steps are available in colors. - 10-degree top platform slope. - All frames are electro polished and passivated, eliminating corrosion while providing a lustrous finish. - Platform tops and steps are molded high-density polyethylene with UV inhibitors added. - Tops and steps incorporate molded-in non-slip surface - requiring no maintenance.

All Spectrum starting platforms meet FINA, NCAA, NFSHSA, USMS and USS regulations.

Bighorn Starting Block

The Bighorn is a very popular platform in the StartLine™ Series. It accommodates anchor setbacks from 20-30 inches. The platform top is 22-inches by 24-inches and will accommodate our hard cover. The platform is easily removable from its 6-inch deep slip anchor sockets. Anchors sold separately. Field measurements are required.

Grizzly Anchor

The Grizzly anchor consists of a single 3 1/2 inch outside diameter by 2 1/2 inch inside diameter anchor sleeve made of machined bronze. The anchor's top surface has two 1/2 inch diameter locating slots which receive the rotation retention rod of the starting platform. The attached end cap and the closure plug are made of stainless steel. The anchor will be fitted with a grounding bolt for proper bonding and will be provided with a tamper-resistant lid and lid removal tool. It's important to note that anchors should never be placed closer than 6 inches to any edge or joint. All anchors require grounding via the proveded grounding bolt.
